FOSS alternatives

ill specify if these things are for windows or android, but idk about ios or mac so i just wont mention anything.

i personally use these:

• ublock origin (pc/android)
  good adblocker. use it.
• firefox (pc/android)
  you know firefox. browser. cares more about your privacy than chromium-based ones.
  (though it's not perfect, feel free to do some research into which browser may suit you most)
• f-droid (android)
  like the play store but for FOSS apps only.
• syncthing/syncthing fork (windows/android respectively)
  lets you sync files between devices, no third party server needed
• mj pdf (android)
  just a simple pdf reader
• breezy weather (android)
  weather app with widgets
• organic maps (android)
  well...maps!
• acode (android)
  code editor, get it on f-droid, the play store version has ads
• vlc (windows/android)
  media player, i only use it on desktop
• auxio (android)
  music player
• yt-dlp (windows)
